"Having met Ian before on an Osprey hide session in the summer, I've just spent two amazing days with Ian and I won't hesitate recommending him to anyone looking for a wildlife adventure with expertise. The knowledge Ian has is second to  none when it comes to the species, locations, seasons and some local history all in breathtaking backdrops that add to your experience of Scotland. The first day Ian picked me up bang on time and with a cuppa in hand we were away to find some grouse in spectacular views before moving onto mountain hares in even more beautiful surroundings (this alone will melt your stress away) after several 5 more minutes we only left when the light had gone. It was an afternoon of chat, laughing and great photography! The second day, again on time we headed as a bonus for no ptarmigans to Ian's stunning crested tit location to start the day before sampling the cairngorm mountains harsher weather and a view of snow buntings being blown around! We moved in the afternoon for red deer/stags in a jaw dropping real wild Scotland location for several hours again only leaving as the light had gone and with some snow on the previously bare mountains." - Simon

"Ian at INS Wildlife Photography and Guiding is very professional and knowledgeable. He knew where to find the wildlife and nothing was too much trouble for him. Ian picked me up at 7:30am and we were out all day and only stopped when we lost the light and I was dropped off at 6:15pm, so a good full day in March. We started off with Red Grouse and Mountain Hares in the morning. Thereafter I photographed Crested Tits, Brown Hares and finally Stags. It was a great day I will certainly be returning. The wildlife and scenery were stunning. I would thoroughly recommend a day or two guiding with Ian" - Iain

"All I can say is don't hesitate booking Ian. Just had a fabulous couple of days photographing all the wildlife I had hoped to see, Mountain Hares, Red Grouse, Crested Tits, Snow Buntings & Red Deer. It was even more special as it snowed during my visit. For those of you who are a bit concerned about driving a long way and in winter conditions don't let that put you off. The train was so easy and stops in the centre of Aviemore, Ian picked me up from the train station and took me to my accommodation. Each morning Ian picked me up at 7:30am to start my photography experience and dropped me off at the end of the day. We had full days and I was taken to all the locations under Ians expert guidance. I have thought about doing this for so long, but so glad I booked a 1:1 so I made the most of my short time here. Cheers Ian" - Sheena
