AUTUMN/WINTER GUIDING

Days out guiding

I offer one to one guiding as well as group guiding. I can cover a mix of species over our time together or focus on one particular species.

I am pleased to be using my knowledge to get you the shots you want.

I will pick you up from your accommodation in the morning and drop you off in the evening, or alternatively, we can arrange a suitable meeting place. The day(s) can be tailored to your requirements and we can cover one species or many species.

MOUNTAIN HARES, PTARMIGAN, CRESTED TITS, STAGS, RED GROUSE, SNOW BUNTINGS

I have three mains areas that I go to, to photograph Mountain Hares with a good chance of photographing Ptarmigan at two of the areas. Two of the locations will require a fair bit of walking to elevated positions. A pretty good fitness level will be required for those locations. The third area isn't too bad a walk, and would be suitable to anyone. However, because of the lack of elevation there is a smaller chance of snow coverage.

I have an area that I have been feeding up for Crested Tits and this site is accessible for most people. There is also the opportunity to photograph Snow Buntings further up the hill and this is accessible for most people.

I offer half day sessions solely for Crested Tits. The cost of these half day sessions is £90 per person.

I have an area I go to for Stags that requires no walking and is suitable for all. We can spend all day there or split the day between Stags and other species.

I can also arrange Squirrel photography at a local hide in the Winter months.
